Hi. I'm Rebecca.

Thanks! Message sent.

I am a museum mercenary. I am a museum lover, a collector of curiosities, a careful observer, a brainstormer, a maker, an eager traveler, a problem-solver, and a storyteller.

Curiosity is my driving force. I love exploring the ideas that shape our world and work on projects ranging from art to history to literature to contemporary art.

I have a BA from Framingham State University, an MA from the Winterthur Program in American Material Culture, and a Certificate in Museum Studies from the University of Delaware.

In addition to my freelance work, I am also the Executive Director of the Thoreau Farm Trust, the nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the birthplace of Henry David Thoreau and promoting his timeless ideas about nature and society.

I serve as vice-chair of the Historical Commission of the City of Waltham, Massachusetts and on the Board of the Friends of Stonehurst, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the mission and programs of Stonehurst, the Robert Treat Paine Estate, a National Historic Landmark in Waltham, MA.

I am the former co-chair of the Independent Museum Professionals Affinity Group for the New England Museum Association

And I am the proud mom of three curious kids.
